The start is near Via Roma 26, next to the Antichi Sapori restaurant and the post office.

From here, go straight along Via Roma for about 75 m and turn left downhill towards Via Asilo, leaving the Church of San Giacomo on your right.

Continue downhill for at least 100 m and turn left at the second paved road you find.

Proceed downhill to a junction and turn right.

Walk 1 km until you reach Provincial Road 35 and turn left.

After about 300 m, turn left onto the gravel road towards Cascina Fontanella.

Follow the main path for over 1 km and at the junction turn left.

From there, after just under 1 km, you will see the small Church of San Grato.

A little further on the left, we will see the Giant Bench No. 48 “Rosso Barbera” from which we can enjoy a wonderful view of the hills and the village of Sala Monferrato.

After this short break, turn left towards the town centre for at least 800 m until you reach our Destination, the point from which we started.
